Das was passiert, passiert ohne Worte.

E:/ The film shows a path, a woman´s path to the sea-to her imaginery meeting with two men. The path is not planned. Playing with time, with langour, is a means that is intentionally used: it is the precondition for reading signs, details in the film, differently. There is a plot, a story at the base of it, or rather: the film holds traces, fragments of a plot, just as elements exist that profees to be a basis of the plot. What happens, happens without words. The initial multitude of possibilities for initiating and developing the story becomes constrained, heads toward a point, like the woman´s path and the path of the two men. The meeting of the figures flows into a common action, the path to the sea. Exactly here is where the projection surfaces are assigned to the three actors. Then the previous schema is continued with the three people at the sea and finally marks the water, the end of the path and of the film. The classical narrative elements of the film are balanced with its poetic level. The camera has no active function, but rather a passively observing one. The events come to the camera, not the other way around.
